We seek to investigate a notion of architectural meaning, through the research of simple ideas such as importation and adaptation. By studying exemplary international and local architectures we will aim to create a recipe for an architecture of meaning in the Australian landscape.

In pairs we all visited different food venues in an effort to take the time and to be observant of the place you are within. This exercise was a way to introduce us to the diversity of cultural offerings Melbourne holds and to show some places that have become institutions through their offering to the public.
